“When I was put in charge of organising our second birthday party I had no idea where to begin. I had just started my new role as office manager for Ruby Cha Cha and from what I had been told of the last Ruby-Do, I had very high standards to live up to. In order to do this I decided I needed to enlist the help of an event coordinator, and after sorting through a list of companies who were either way too expensive, too impersonal or too bland I was fortunate enough to stumble across Cloud 9 Event Management.
 
As a vibrant and upcoming Marketing Research Firm it was important for us here at Ruby Cha Cha to host an event which encompassed our uniqueness and flair, and from our very first meeting Amy amazed me with her creative thoughts and concepts for how we could make our Ruby-Do a night to remember. I had come up with the idea of an Arabian nights themed party, an idea which Amy embraced whole heartedly, providing an in-depth vision that carried this theme throughout all aspects of the party, from décor to the menu and beyond. After deciding on a final concept, which Amy had kindly created within the means of our budget without jeopardising any aspect of the vision, she set about sourcing everything that we needed to bring ‘A-Ruby-Ian’ nights, which the evening was later referred too, alive. 
 
When the night finally rolled around, my stress levels were sky high, hoping the night would go off without a glitch, but Amy’s professionalism and can-do attitude soon saw me relax and enjoy the amazing event that Amy had created for us. We were transported into another world, as our office space became a sultans lair, complete with cushions, camels and hookah pipes. Our guests were treated to a tantalizing assortment of culinary delights which blended together the flavors and aromas of middle eastern delicacies with some more contemporary dishes, whilst being entertained by the mystical insights of Linda the Tarot Card reader, who everyone agreed was the real deal! As the night rolled on and the alcohol supply diminished it was obvious that the party was a true success with guest after guest telling me what a wonderful time they were having and what a unique night it had been. The following morning, one needed to look no further for evidence that it had been a FANTASTIC party than the war zone that was our boardroom, but not for long as Amy arrived bright and bubbly as always to help clean up the mess, another example of her amazing dedication and work ethic! As the last few items were packed away and our boardroom returned to its familiar state I was sad to have to say goodbye to Amy and the vision that she had helped me bring to life. The night had undoubtedly been a success with numerous emails and phone calls from clients letting us know what a wonderful time they had had and asking us to confirm them for the next one!
 
My experience of working with Cloud 9 Event Management was an absolute delight! It is clear that Amy is passionate about her industry and this is evident in the entire experience that Cloud 9 provides.
