| Amy Vandenhurk - Director of Cloud 9 Event Management, Amy Vandenhurk brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the management of food and beverage service having catered for a range of clients from corporate through to boutique weddings and private celebrations. Amy’s expertise has been called upon to manage events for corporate clients including; Ruby Cha Cha (awarded 2009 – Top 50 Coolest Companies) and Nestle. Supervision of food and beverage service at events extends to the Sydney Showground and the V8 Supercars as well as corporate clients, Dell Computers, Mercedes, Bayer Pharmaceuticals and privately owned Sydney Harbour yacht charters. Previous involvement with events such as Fashion Week, Sydney International Film Festival and The Jack Awards have provided valuable insight into the organisation and attention to detail required to deliver on large scale events. Previously - Before starting Cloud 9 Event Management Amy worked in experimental marketing for Retail Performance managing nation-wide Sony in-store demonstrator campaigns. Amy has also worked with a number of small businesses as a contract marketing and business development officer and was selected to be a foreign corespondent for television show Bread TV reporting on businesses in New Zealand. She has also worked as a TV extra and stage presenter. As a young, talented member of the Cloud 9 Event Management team Yooji is passionate about delivering a fantastic experience to all clients through her passion of food and attention to detail. Yooji is studying Diploma of Hospitality Management and Commercial Cookery at TAFE and in the beginning 2009, was spotlighted in the Manly Daily, when she was a maitre’d of Pittwater Training Restaurant (awarded as the best training restaurant in NSW in 2007, 2008 and 2009) at TAFE Northern Beaches.
Previously – Yooji has worked in the hospitality industry for a decade, starting out at a very young age in her mothers café in Seoul City, Korea. Her adventurous spirit brought her to Australia where she landed in Cairns and worked on events such as the 2007 Tourism Award : North Queensland. Yooji's experience extends to managing functions at the Hilton, Novotel and Cairns Convention Centre as well as being called upon to supervise hospitality outlets at Football stadiums all around Sydney.
